Electrician calculators
Quick sizing aids without registration: voltage drop, cable cross-section and MCB, power and current. In the drawing editor you get the same for the whole flat automatically.

What are the calculators for?
The calculators give quick, informative answers to an electrician's everyday questions: how large the voltage drop is on a long cable, which MCB and cross-section suit a load, how many amps a given power draws. They work in the browser without registration, and the data you enter is not stored.
The calculations run on the server. The sizing calculators (voltage drop, cable and MCB, power and current) use the same formulas and current-carrying capacity table that Avenler uses to size the circuits of your projects. The result is always an informative calculation: the final sizing is the responsibility of the electrical designer.
From one circuit to the whole flat
Each calculator examines a single circuit. In the drawing editor the program does the same for every circuit: from the measured cable route length, the power of the connected devices and the selected protective device, it calculates the operating current, the current-carrying capacity and the voltage drop, and flags anything that does not fit. On the distribution board it also totals the load of the phases and the current of the main switch.
